Elymnias panthera, the tawny palmfly, is a butterfly in the family Nymphalidae. It was described by Johan Christian Fabricius in 1787. It is found in the Indomalayan realm. Wikipedia

The Tawny Palmfly is moderately common in Singapore and can be found in the nature reserves, forested areas of wastelands in the west, Sungei Buloh wetland reserve and Kranji nature trail.
