<p>Ricaniidae is a family of planthopper insects, containing over 400 species worldwide. <p>The Leaf Insect is also known as the “Walking Leaf”, the size is about 2-3cm.<br>I was fortunate to have spotted this nymph leaf insect at Bukit Timah Nature Reserve on my way back.</p>

<p><em>Earwigs</em>&nbsp;are mostly nocturnal and often hide in small, moist crevices during the day, and are active at night, feeding on a wide variety of insects and plants.</p>

<p>The Reduviidae are a large cosmopolitan family of the order Hemiptera. Among the Hemiptera and together with the Nabidae almost all species are terrestrial ambush predators: most other predatory Hemiptera are aquatic</p>
