<p>Chalcorana chalconota is a species of &#8220;true frog&#8221;, family Ranidae <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chalcorana_chalconota">Wikipedia</a></p>



<p>Formerly confused with Rana chalconata and Hydrophylax raniceps. Dorsal surface relatively smooth, ranging from bright green to shades of yellow or brown. Hind legs long and slender, tips of fingers and toes flattened into disks. Snout pointed upper lip white, eardrum brown. Tadpoles are yellowish to orange, often with translucent skin. A blackish bar is present under the eyes, and poison glands form a pair of white stripes on the belly. They are often found in forest streams with running water.
