]]> Ankylopteryx is a genus of green lacewings in the family Chrysopidae, established by Brauer in 1864, recognised by their broad, heavily setose forewings, narrow hind wings, and distinctive flat resting position. Found across the Palaeotropics (Africa, Asia, Australia), this large genus includes roughly 50 known species, characterised by black-tipped tarsi, a broad costal field on the forewing, and a male pseudopenis.
